Noel's Comatose Without Mike

Noel’s Comatose Without Mike

Author’s Notes: Noel misses Mike, so he drinks and drinks falling into a comatose where he always wakes to find Mike by his side. This one was really hard to do, so please try and enjoy it.

Song: Comatose-Skillet
Couple(Kind Of)-Noel Fielding/Mike Fielding

I hate feeling like this
I’m so tired of tryin to fight this
I’m asleep and all I dream of is waking to you

Noel hated drinking; he hated feeling empty and sick inside. But he was done fighting this, done fighting the demons that lead him to drinking and drugs in the first place. Noel was asleep after a night of partying with his so called friends, but all he dreamed of was to waking up to see his brother, Mike.

Tell me that you will listen
Your touch is what I’m missing
And the more I hide I realize I’m slowly losing you

Noel woke up to his brother, sitting on the edge of his bed looking down at him. Michael had a look of pure worry on his innocent face, “M-Mike…” Noel’s voice sounded so weak. “Mike, I’m sorry, please forgive me.”

Mike looked down at his broken brother, and sighed. “I’ll always listen to you’re apologies, but sometimes I think they’re half-hearted ones.” Mike touched his brother’s cheek, and petted his black hair down.

Noel felt in peace, feeling his brother’s touch on his face and hair. He missed his brother’s touch, but he never told Mike; afraid that Mike would avoid him forever. So, he drank to avoid missing his brother’s touch. But the more he drank; he realized his was slowly losing Mike’s respect for him as a brother.

Comatose
I’ll never wake without an overdose of you

Noel was once again passed out by drinking too much again. He felt empty which nothing was new with that feeling, but this time he felt he was never going to wake up without Mike by his side. He knew had gone out with a couple of friends, and he wasn’t going to be back till late.

But he knew without Mike’s touch, his sweet kisses on his forehead, cheeks and shoulders and tight hugs; Noel felt he would never wake up this time.

I don’t wanna live, I don’t wanna breathe
‘Less I feel you next to me
You take the pain I feel
(Waking up to you never felt so real)

Noel didn’t want to live, or breathe unless he felt his brother by his side. Mike took the pain away Noel felt after he drank. Noel felt dead when he drank, but when he woke up to see his brother he felt alive, real.

I don’t wanna sleep, I don’t wanna dream
‘Cause my dreams don’t comfort me
The way you make me feel
(Waking up to you never felt so real)

Noel laid in his bed from another night of drinking, but this time by himself in his own sorrows. He didn’t want to sleep, but when he did sleep he didn’t want to dream. He learned his dreams never comforted him like Mike did. When Noel would wake up, he would see the one person that made him whole, alive and real.

I hate living without you
Dead wrong to ever doubt you
But my demons lay in waiting
Tempting me away

When Mike was away to America to visit friends, Noel hated living without him for those three months. He was wrong to doubt Mike, but his demons laid waiting in the darkness of his mind; tempting him to drink again and that it would make him feel better without his brother.

Oh, how I adore you
Oh, how I thirst for you
Oh, how I need you

Noel laid in his bed, looking at a picture of his brother with him and the rest of his friends. How he adored his brother for helping him destroy most of his addiction. Instead of alcohol, he thirsted for his brother. He loved, and needed his brother to help kill his demons.

Breathing life, waking up
My eyes open up

Noel felt dead after his round of shots, he staggered home and fell to his bed. He laid there dead, empty and sick. He closed his eyes, feeling his strength leave him.

Noel suddenly felt warmth on his lips, and warm drops on his cheeks. He felt sweet breath entering his lungs, he felt him waking from his deathly slumber. His blue eyes opening up to find his brother crying over him bring him back to life.

Oh, how I adore you
(Waking up to you never felt so real)
Oh, how I thirst for you
(Waking up to you never felt so real)
Oh, how I adore you
The way you make me feel
(Waking up to you never felt so real)

Noel looked into his brother’s eyes, and saw Mike’s lips form into a smile as more tears fell down his cheeks. Noel reached up, and wiped the tears away and smiled. What he saw in Mike’s eyes was love, and innocence which is why he adored him.

Mike, caught up in the moment, kissed Noel again. Noel kissed back, this is what Noel wanted. He thirsted for Mike’s lips on his own, he adored Mike. They broke their soft and sweet kiss, and fell asleep in each other’s arms.

When Noel woke up the next morning, he looked down and saw his brother asleep in his arms. Noel never felt so real or alive before this moment waking up to his brother’s sleeping form.
