All Howard ever wanted was to be with Vince. When Vince was sad, he wanted to see Vince smile and he would do whatever it takes to see that signature grin on his face.

Howard knew he loved Vince, he knew it right when they were in the Tundra. When Howard thought Vince was killed by a polar bear, he found no reason left to live without Vince.

Because a life without Vince was like everlasting rain forever drenching his soul in loneliness, but when Howard saw Vince alive and well, he felt the sun come out of those clouds in his head.

But when death decided to rear its ugly head to the strange duo, the thought of Vince dying plagued Howard’s thoughts making his last words be, ‘I love you, Vince’ but Vince didn’t see it and laughed.

Why didn’t Vince see it like Howard did?

All Howard ever wanted was to love Vince, without a care in the world. All Howard ever wanted was to keep that bright grin on Vince’s angelic face.

All Howard ever wanted was to make love to Vince, with no regrets in the morning after.

When they returned from the tundra, Vince questioned the whole, ‘I love you’ thing to Howard. ‘Do you really love me?’

Howard was shocked, how could Vince not see Howard’s love for him?

‘Vince,’ Howard replied, ‘all I wanted is you and me forever, little man.’

It’s was a night, just like any other. Howard and Vince went out of the night to a bar that only Vince loved.

It’s been a year since the tundra, and the confession. Nothing has changed.

Now, Howard is alone, sitting at a dirty bar watching his one and only love dance with completely strangers.

Howard watches Vince’s hips sway to the beat of the music that blast through the speakers in the far right corner and to the far left corner, neon lights dancing with the electro pixie known as Vince Noir.

Waiting for Vince to notice him, and come over to be with Howard, his one and only mate in his big blue eyes.

Howard watches as two guys dance around him, grinding into the vulnerable Vince’s tiny hips. Howard grips his dry lime shot the perspiration cooling his hand down.

Howard only wishes, and wants to be with Vince. He wants to be a bigger part of his life, more than the drugs and the partying. Thinking of more they can do together as one person, as one… couple.

Two weeks after the club, and Vince plagues Howard’s thought process. He could be reading an old favorite novel from his book collection, and somehow Vince will be there; dancing, swaying, smiling, laughing etc.

Those tiny smiles, winks, sways make Howard want him all the more. Wanting him in his bed, moaning, withering under him; clawing at his back as he thrust into his pink entrance.

As Howard fantasies, and wishes; he knows. Vince is his world. Every decision, word and action surrounded around Vince. Vince is Howard’s world. When he looks at himself in the mirror, he sees Vince is his small warm brown eyes.

All Howard ever wanted in a woman was lost; they never worked out for Howard. Either they never remembered his name or they were a slut. He knows Vince is all he ever wanted in his life, simple as that.

Howard knew that he loved Vince, but why didn’t Vince see his love for him?

All Howard ever wanted was just Vince and Howard together, no one in between.
