Title: Chapter 1 Reviewer: Shiraz Signed
I find this such a bittersweet story, full of so much emotion and some truely great moments.

This almost made me cry! D':

Well written, though. Keep up the good work!

Author's Response: Thank you. There's a crazy lot of rape mentions in the Boosh, isn't there? I wanted to write a story about it for ages, but it's a tricky thing to do. Thanks again.

very hot, thank you!! :-)

Author's Response: Thanks. I'm glad you found it hot, since I wrote it that way, at least for part of it. You're welcome.

I've been lurking over this on Blue Boosh and it really gets me every time I read it. (I'm thinking of getting an LJ just to join that comm.) The Hitcher's domination and the way Howard seems detached from his actions are beautifully disturbing. And Vince at the end is so endearing, it really makes the situation hit home. And the last line is such a heartbreaker- it's so cruel but you can understand it. This is a proper mind-messer, and I adore it.

Author's Response: Yeah, Howard really pulls away at the end. He doesn't want to, and he really shouldn't because he's partway to blame, but the whole thing seems to be hitting him worse than Vince. Though I think they both have delayed shock - events haven't really hit either of them yet. Well, rape is a mind-messer, more for the after-effects than for what happens at the time, I think. It's the weeks and years afterwards that hurt. If it messed your with mind that's probably about right, I reckon. Thanks for your articulate comment. If you join up on LJ you'll find more discussions there. There's not so much commenting goes on over here.
